the staff is affable and very very helpful, and the owner too. i have stayed in the cottage with a microwave oven, central heating, and coffee/tea making equipment.

Reasonably clean hotel with really helpful and very helpful staff and beautiful location close to a lot of hiking trails as well as a slippery hike to the kitchen block on the frozen ground. Very nice overall experience.

The rooms were well decorated and amazing, STUNNING location. A wide array of facilities such as: a refrigerator, tea and coffee making equipment, and a sitting area.

The venue was original, and I loved my stay. the location was excellent, with easy access to numerous hiking trails and the stunning mountains surrounding the house. the views of Lake Jolstravatn, the mountains, and Boyabreen were breathtaking. My room was immaculate and well-equipped, featuring a fridge and a cooker. the amenities were great, and the food was delightful. I have nothing but lovely memories from this trip!

This place is located in a stunning spot, right by a valley and some impressive waterfalls 🏞️. It was cool to have WiFi and a tea kettle right in the room - super useful! The staff here are really friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
